Kennengelernt habe ich diese Band im Jahre 2001. Die Singles So Why So Sad & Ocean Spray waren die ersten die ich bewusst gehört habe. Beide liegen auch als Original im Schrank. Richey Edwards war mir dann etwas später ein Name (in Bezug auf SVV & Co., und außerdem weil er als Bild auf der Seite rawkz.de von Chrisy zu sehen war). Erst durch Gloria & Misu habe ich mich näher mit den Manics befasst & sie richtig lieben gelernt. Bis heute sind Richey, James, Sean & Nicky die vier faszinierendsten Künstler “ever” für mich.
